Jamshedpur, Feb 3: A delegation of BJP led by city president Gunjan Yadav today met the East Singhbhum SSP, M. Tamilvanan and took information about the gangrape of a minor girl by youths at a government school toilet in Parsudih and demanded that the accused should be put under speedy trial for prompt justice.
The delegation which had earlier also visited the spot of the incident intimated the senior police official that no barricading has been done in the spot of the incident. The delegation had also met the victim’s family and were informed that police was not allowing them to meet the girl.
The delegation assured the victim’s family of speedy justice.
The BJP leader said that ever since the Hemant Soren government came to power incident of rapes have increased in the state and it is clear that the state government is failing to provide security to the women and minor girls.
