Seraikela, August 24: Birsa Munda Park situated at near Nripraj Jama High School in Seraikela district has turned into mess.
Since its inauguration in December 2007 no plans for the upkeep of the park has been made and in the monsoon the grass inside the park grows while there is a water logging at the place.
In summers the grass inside the park vanishes giving it an ugly look.
Once in a year on the occasion of Hul Diwas the social organisations clean up the statues of Sidho-Kanho and the park is washed up but leaving this all round the year there is no one to see what is happening inside the park.
The park situated near the senior administration officials is looking for messiah who can turn it around to be cleaner and greener.
It may be noted that the park was inaugurated by the then CM of Jharkhand Madhu Koda which was financed by MLA Champai Soren through his MLA fund, Chamber of Commerce and JUSCO.
