Holds talks with karate coach Nageshwar Rao
Jamshedpur, Dec 12: Bihar state Art, Culture and Youth Minister Jitendra Kumar Rai along with Bihar State Mukhiya Sangh President Mithilesh Kumar Rai visited Jamshedpur on Monday.
They were welcomed at Circuit House by Chief Coach at Tata Steel Karate Training Centre cum Hony. General Secretary, Jharkhand State Karate Do Association L Nageshwar Rao.
Minister along with Mukhiya Sangh President took a tour of JRD Tata Sports Complex and seemed impressed with the world-class infrastructures and facilities provided by Tata Steel at the stadium.
They also saw the gallery for sports history and archives, ‘Action Replay’, at the stadium to know about rich sporting history of Tata Steel, and the steel city of Jamshedpur.
Minister appreciated the Tata Steel for investing in sports and sportspersons and creating a hub for sports which will play a significant role in holistic development of sports.
Later, they also held talks with Karate Coach Nageshwar Rao on issues related to sports.
