Jamshedpur, Sept 19: A Basti Vikas Samiti (BVS) delegation led by its president Khemlal Chowdhary met JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar and handed a charter of demands that included glitch free roads, ban on sale of plastic, order to builders to install water harvesting systems in all new constructions, government offices and factory buildings, spraying of pesticides and deploying fogging schedules to prevent dengue, malaria and other viral infections in residential areas. They claimed that this was an illegal practice that must be immediately put an end to.

The BVS delegation led by Khemlal Chowdhary included Kamlesh Singh, Ajay Singh, Manjit Singh, Dinesh Singh, Jitendra Mishra, Sushant Panda, Hare Ram Yadav, Manoj Bajpayee, Bhanu Prakash, Kameshwar Sahu, Sonu Goswami, Monty Agrawal and others.
