Also present at the meeting convened by the Civil Surgeon, Zila Parishad vice president Rajkumar Singh stressed on the need to spread greater public awareness regarding measles and rubella. He said schools should hold meetings with parents to make the campaign successful. He said the people should be told that the vaccines have no side effect.
