Jamshedpur: Atul Khatri, the country’s famous stand-up comedian and especially popular among the youth, tickled and laughed the people of Jamshedpur on Saturday through his cheeky comedy. He also paved the way for this by giving a meaningful message of water conservation in the city and surrounding areas by throwing away decades in the packed Fasy Auditorium of Loyola School.
Jamshedpur chapter of Young Indians (YI) affiliated to CII organized Khatri Se Khatra, a comedy show by country’s famous stand-up comedian Atul Khatri, at Fasy Auditorium of Loyola School, to raise funds for the construction of a public pond. In this comedy show of about one hour which started at 7.30 pm, Atul Khatri made the audience tickle, laugh and laugh several times with his funny jokes. His tremendous bonding with the audience was seen in the program. He also commented on politics in his cheeky style and made people laugh by mentioning from Adani to Ambani.
The popularity of Atul Khatri, who is about 55 years old, was especially visible among the youth and through his show, he tied the audience in such a way that any man remained on his seat till the end of the program.
During the show, by mentioning Gujarat, Khatri also told the importance of the people of that opinion and also made people laugh. Said that leadership ability is in the blood of Gujaratis. The country saw Mahatma Gandhi. Made Narendra Modi the Prime Minister. Amit Shah was given the opportunity to discharge the responsibility as the Union Home Minister, Adani is getting fame as the shadow Finance Minister.
Giving the example of Ambani, Khatri said that Ambani has named his brand Jio. Means enjoy life. But this is possible only when Ambani comes along. His service will be done only then with Jio. His style of speaking was such that the audience burst into laughter.
While leaving the Loyola School premises after the program was over, many onlookers were heard commenting that YI should keep conducting such programs again and again. Amit Agarwal, director of city-based company Jamshedpur Curoclaim, liked YI’s water conservation initiative so much that he announced to sponsor a new and separate pond to be built by the organization.
On the other hand, before his show, stand up comedian Shankar Pandey of Jamshedpur made the audience laugh in the opening act. Earlier, while giving information about the ponds being constructed by the organization, Vishal Agarwala, National Vice Chair of Young Indians, said that till now the construction of three ponds has been completed and the construction of the fourth is in progress. Young Indians have set a target of constructing a total of 10 ponds in three districts of Kolhan. Prateek Agarwal, Chair of Jamshedpur Chapter of Young Indians, informed the people about the climate change project of the organization in an audio-visual presentation.
It is notable that the construction of two ponds on behalf of Young Indians in Roladih of Potka block of East Singhbhum district has been completed and their management has been handed over to the local committee. Similarly, the third pond has been built in Pindrabeda village of Rapcha panchayat of Seraikela-Kharsawan district.
