Andhra Association English School, St. Mary’s Hindi shine in JOGGA Inter School Football Tournament 2025-26

Jamshedpur, Nov 12: The JOGGA Inter School Football Tournament 2025-26, organized by RMS High School, Balichela, Sonari, concluded with great enthusiasm and spirited performances at the Armoury Ground, Bistupur. The tournament was held on November 7 and from November 10 to 12, 2025, witnessing participation from several leading schools across the city.

In the Boys’ Junior Category, 29 teams with 435 players competed. St. Mary’s Hindi School lifted the winner’s trophy, while the host school, RMS High School Balichela, secured second place and Blue Bells finished third. In the Boys’ Senior Category, Andhra Association English School emerged as champion, followed by AIWC Academy of Excellence in second place and K.P.S. Gamharia in third.

Among the girls, R.K.M.E.S. clinched first place in the Junior Category, while AIWC Academy of Excellence stood second and Kasidih High School took third. In the Senior Girls’ Category, Andhra Association English School once again dominated, winning the top honor, with K.P.S. NML finishing second and R.K.M.E.S. third.

The closing ceremony was held on November 12 at the RMS High School Balichela campus. The chief guest was Everester Asmita Dorjee. Other dignitaries included  Tripti Roy, former Chief Information Security Officer of Tata Steel; Firoz Khan, Vice President of JOGGA and international handball player; Akash, Area Manager of Sports and Adventure Program; R.K. Jhunjhunwala, Ex-President of Rajasthan Maitri Sangh; and Pratima Sinha, Principal of RMS High School.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Firoz Khan, appreciating the players’ teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
