Jamshedpur, March 24: The platform for any performing media turns a temple where performers are the priests and audience the devotees. Today, the Michael John Auditorium was the venue of one such worship where God was invoked by danseuse Ananya Dutta through her dexterous exposition of synchronized movements as demanded in the presentation of Bharatanatyam performances. In fact, Bharatanatyam is the dance form designed to invoke the blessings of God in temples and Ananya did just that to hold connoisseurs and general lovers of this art form in awe.

The program of Bharatanatyam Dance recital was organized by Arpan Dance Academy. 15 year old Ananya Dutta is a student of this academy and of Carmel Junior College. Her patterns of presentation were divided into two segments, the basic and simple movements and then the intricacies of eye, hand and foot movement coordination and the danseuse proved her expertise in handling it all with ease and aplomb.
The accompaniment to the excellent, promising and invigorating performance was based on Sukumar Kutty�s tunes to the accompaniment of Nattuvangam Sumati Rajan, D Malay on Mridangam, A Satya Vishal on violin, Kumar Babu on flute and Shamisan Acharya on ghatam.
