Amit Shah alleges Hemant Soren behind “Love, Land Jihad”; promises to bring ‘White Paper’

Ranchi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during his maiden visit to Jharkhand’s state capital Ranchi after the Lok Sabha elections on Sunday, signaled the party’s poll readiness for the forthcoming state assembly elections.

On Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack against Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, alleging him of being instrumental behind “love jihad” and “land jihad” in the state due to his “vote bank and appeasement policy.”

Shah attacked the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led government, accusing it of being the most corrupt in the country and causing demographic changes in the state.

While speaking at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s extended working committee, Shah alleged Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s involvement in “land and love jihad.”

“Infiltrators, especially Bangladeshis, are marrying tribal women of the state and obtaining certificates, and buying land. This is causing the tribal population to shrink in Jharkhand,” said Shah.

The Union Minister further promised that, if the saffron party forms the government in Jharkhand, they would release a ‘White Paper’ on the state’s demography to protect the rights and land of tribals.

Shah labeled the JMM-led government as the ‘most corrupt’ in the country, stating, “The JMM government is involved in mining, liquor, and land scams worth crores of rupees.”

He further stated that the BJP will form the government in the state with a full majority.

Shah, patting BJP’s back, emphasized, “Narendra Modi ji has given 3,84,000 crores to the state for its development in the last 10 years, while Congress had provided only 84,000 crores.”

The Union Minister also credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for eradicating Naxalism from Jharkhand and Bihar.
