Jamshedpur, April 3: AIFF U-19 football tournament featuring seven teams will kick off on 8th April at Noamundi.
The tournament consists of two groups where Group Aconsists of Bengaluru FC, Garhwal FC, Hindustan FC, Aizawl FC.
All the Group A matches will be played at Noamundi from April 8-13 while the Group B consisting of TFA, MPUFC and EFC will be played at Kennan Stadium from 9-13 April.
These are the qualifying round matches for the Rest of India. The four teams that have already qualified for the finals to be played at Jamshedpur from 20 to 29th April are Sesa Footbaal Academy, Shillong Lajong FC, AIFF Navi Mumbai Academy and Kingfisher East Bengal.
The tournament is being organized by Tata Steel.
The match on 9th April to be played at Keenan Stadium will be held at 9 am while the matches on 11 and 13 April will start at 3.30pm.
The information was provided through a press conference where Rajiv Singhal VP (Raw Materials) Tata Steel, Farzan Hirjee, Match Commissioner Binod, Rajiv Mishra secretary JSA, Ramesh Mehta and others were present.
