Jamshedpur, July 5: The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab, jointly established by Dell Technology and Intel Corporation, was inaugurated at RVS College of Engineering and Technology on July 5. The inauguration ceremony saw Chief Guest Pooja Yadav, Program Manager at Intel, and Special Guest Shraddha Agarwal, CEO of Izki Tech Solution Pvt. Ltd., cutting the ribbon to mark the occasion.

The event was graced by Binda Singh, President of RVS Educational Trust, Bhagat Singh, Secretary, Shatrughan Singh, Treasurer, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, Principal of the college, Dr. Vikram Sharma, Head of Training and Placement, and various department heads, faculty members, and students.
Addressing the gathering, Pooja Yadav emphasized the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in today’s world. She congratulated the college management on establishing the AI Lab, foreseeing a promising future for RVS College in Jharkhand with enhanced capabilities in AI, which will significantly impact fields like marketing.

Shraddha Agarwal highlighted the evolutionary role of technology, drawing parallels to the adoption of mobile phones and social media platforms. She expressed optimism about AI’s potential as a modern tool for development, urging the audience not to fear technological advancements.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, in his address, highlighted the college’s commitment to skill development aligned with industry needs. He acknowledged the support of Dell and Intel in establishing the AI Lab, following the successful establishment of the VLSI Lab previously.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Vikram Sharma, who emphasized the transformative impact of AI. The proceedings were conducted by second-year BCA students, Disha Shah and Sweety Kumari. Faculty members including Dr. Rekha Tiwari, Professor Anita Giri, Professor Moni Mandal, Professor Pranshu Sinha, Professor Kunal, and Professor Akanksha, along with Rajiv Ranjan Das, played pivotal roles in organizing the program.
