ADLS Sunshine School celebrates academic excellence at Annual Achievers’ Ceremony

Jamshedpur, August 10: ADLS Sunshine School honoured its top-performing students at the Annual Achievers’ Ceremony held yesterday at Michael John Auditorium, Bistupur. The event, centred on the theme “Women Empowerment & Gender Equality,” recognized students’ outstanding achievements in both academic and extracurricular activities for the 2023-2024 school year.

Chief Guest Indrajit Paul, Chief of Pellet Plant at Tata Steel Jamshedpur, joined school management and trustees to celebrate the students’ accomplishments. The ceremony began with a prayer dance by the Sunshiners, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.

Principal Manju Singh welcomed attendees and praised the students’ hard work, while School Secretary M. Kamal Kumar presented the Annual Academic Report. In his address, Mr. Paul congratulated the students and staff on their exceptional performance.

High-achieving students from 10th and 12th grades received awards for their Board Examination results. Notably, 12 students who scored above 90% in the ICSE board examination were granted two-year scholarships. Teachers who mentored students to achieve over 90% in various subjects were also recognized.

The event showcased students’ non-academic talents as well, featuring performances including Swedish and African dances. The ceremony concluded with the school anthem, celebrating another year of academic excellence at ADLS Sunshine School.
