Jamshedpur, Jan 29: Aghoreshwar Bhagwan Ram (ABR) Public School, Pardih, Mango, has taken a remarkable and inspiring initiative towards the holistic development of children from economically weaker and marginalized sections of society.
Under this programme, selected students of the school will embark on an educational tour to Delhi by air, departing from Ranchi on February 2, and returning on the night of February 3.
The highlight of this special educational tour will be an opportunity for the students to meet the Hon’ble President of India, an experience expected to leave a lasting impact on their young minds. In addition, the students will visit several important historical, educational, and nationally significant landmarks in Delhi. The primary objective of the tour is to enhance students’ awareness of India’s democratic system, rich history, and cultural heritage, while also building their confidence and aspirations.
The successful organization of this programme is being supported by Round Table India, whose cooperation has played a key role in making the initiative possible.
Notably, ABR Public School is run under the aegis of Sarveshwari Group, Avadhut Bhagwan Ram Kusht Sewa Ashram, Padav, Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh)—an institution internationally recognized for providing healthcare to the largest number of leprosy patients. The organization has been honoured by the Guinness Book of World Records and the Limca Book of Records, and has received several national and international awards, including the Pandit Ravishankar Shukla Award, for its outstanding contributions in social, economic, and educational fields. Hundreds of its branches are actively working across the country.
At present, the school is providing free education, accommodation, food, and clothing to five tribal students from Simdega district. Along with this, ABR Public School offers modern, computer-based and smart-class education to children from all sections of society at non-profit and affordable fees, ensuring access to quality education.
The students selected for the Delhi tour include Aditi Pandey (25), a teacher accompanying the group, and students Urmi Murmu (11), Pallavi Kumari Nag (12), Ambalika Mahato (12), Shubham Mishra (12), and Priyanshu Das (13).
This initiative stands as a commendable step towards integrating underprivileged children into the mainstream and inspiring them to dream beyond limitations.
