Jamshedpur, Feb 14: The 56th installation day of Kadma Rankini Mandir established in 1964 was observed with religious fervor. Maha Snan, Panchamrit Snan, new attire and d�cor of the idol of Goddess Kali is performed in accordance with traditional, Vedic rituals. After the worship, poor devotees are provided a feast, new clothes in the forms of saris and dhotis and also given cash.
Elaborating on the observance of this annual occasion, the Temple Committee president Dilip Das and general secretary Janardan Pandey stated that all members joined hands in distributing consecrated food among the milling devotees present during this annual function.
It may be mentioned here that Rankini Mandir is the oldest temple in Kadma. People from far and near have tremendous faith on this temple and on the Divine Mother. Devotees visit this temple regularly to offer prayers to Mother Rankini for peace, prosperity and wellbeing of their near and dear ones.
