50-year-old dies in road accident near Jamshedpur

Seraikela : The body of 50-year-old rural Paima Tiu, who was crushed by an unregistered truck, had to be picked up by the police. The said road accident occurred near Mudia Chandrapur on Saraikela Kandra main road at around 11:30 pm. A resident of Narayanpur who works in a private factory near Kolabira, was going to the Bank of Baroda branch in Kolabira to take his monthly salary from his village Narayanpur after his night shift duty. At the same time, the iron chips laden truck number NL01AB-2177 coming from the rear near Mudia Chandrapur collided strongly.

Eyewitness villagers said that Paima, who was riding a bicycle on the footpath, was hit so strongly by the unregistered truck coming down the road that Paima, along with the bicycle, got stuck in the tire of the truck and dragged it for almost 100 meters.

Due to which Paima died a painful death on the spot. Soon after the incident, the local villagers informed the Saraikela police station. After which Saraikela Police Station Incharge Naveen Prakash Pandey reached the spot along with the police force and took the body in his possession and sent it for postmortem.
