Jamshedpur, Sep 8: South Asian Roll Ball Championship (Men&Women) will be held at Dhaka, Bangladesh from 11th to 13th October 2014.
For the same Indian team coaching camp is ongoing from 4th to 10th September 2014 at JRD Tata Sports Complex. Players from Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Delhi and Jharkhand are participating in the camp.
Talking about the event at the press conference, Chandar Sahu, Secretary of Jharkhand Roll Ball Association said teams from Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, Srilanka and Bangladesh are participating so the event becomes much bigger.
Indian team is ready for the challenge were both the boys and girls have put in lot of hard work and hope we perform better at the championship, added Sahu.
He further informed that Monu Gupta is the only player to represent Jharkhand in the Indian team while Sahu will lead the team as coach to the 2nd South Asian Roll Ball Championship.
Indian team will leave for Dhaka on September 10. At the press meet Sunit, Hassan Imam Mallick, Purnima Mahato and others were present.
