Jamshedpur, June 26: India�s Manufacturing sector has evolved from the initial phases of industrialization to liberalization to the current phase of global competitiveness. Backed by competitive technology and talent, manufacturing companies are expanding fast into global markets. What�s more, India is expected to become the fifth largest manufacturing country by the end of 2020, with the government also setting a target of increasing the contribution of manufacturing output to 25% of GDP by 2025.
With a strong focus from the Government to Make in India, the Indian Manufacturing Industry is at the crossroads. Today technology is making an impact on every step of the manufacturing process. New tools and solutions help factories meet greater demand at a lower cost that includes Digital Manufacturing, Robotics, 3�D printing, Industrial Automation, etc.
Against this backdrop, CII Jharkhand is organizing its Second Edition of Manufacturing Conclave on 27 June 2019 at Beldih Club, Jamshedpur. The conclave would cover important topics of discussion including Digital Manufacturing, Technologies for Future Manufacturing, Role of Emerging Technologies in making Manufacturing smart and Enterprise Security vulnerabilities on the shop floor.
K Ravi Kumar, Secretary, Department of Industries, Government of Jharkhand will join the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
