Yuva Congress members demand 22 hours electric supply for Mango

Jamshedpur, April 26: Yuva Congress Committee members headed by senior Congress leader SRA Rizwi Chabban protested before the electricity department general manager office in Bistupur against the erratic supply of electricity in Mango.

Later, they submitted a five-point charter of demands to the GM Subhash Kumar Singh.

According to the demands memorandum, the Yuva Congress has asked for 22 to 24 hours electricity supply, setting up of extra transformer near Madina Masjid, and installation of new electric poles near Old Purulia Road, Zakirnagar Road No-15 and Baganshahi Road No-9.

They also demanded that the worn out electric wires be changed. GM has assured more than half of the issues would be solved by April 30.

Moulana Ansar, Safi Ahmed Khan, Iftikhar Kayum Ansari, Gopal Prasad, Nilesh Prasad, Pavan Singh, Malhu Singh, Shahnaz, Aparna Guha, Mohammed Shahid, Md. Narul Khan, Md. Nazir, Md. Iqbal, Bunty and others were participated in the demonstration.
