Villagers block road after labourer dies in a freak mishap near Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Sept 1: Vinod Hembrom, a 34-year-old labourer of Swargchhida village, died in an accident while evacuating a truck stuck in the mud outside State Food Corporation (SFC) godown at Dumaria in East Singhbhum district. 
He was immediately brought to the Community Health Center Dumaria for treatment after the incident. But seeing the critical condition, Dr Shyam Soren referred the patient to MGM, but he succumbed to his injuries on the way and doctors at MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur declared him brought dead. 
Vinod Hembrom used to work as a laborer in the warehouse.  During the accident, the wooden plank hit his chest very sharply due to which he fell unconscious there. Blood started coming out of nose and mouth.

A truck full of grains coming from Jamshedpur got stuck in the mud outside the godown.  A wooden plank was placed in the middle of another lorry to push the truck . During the push, the wooden plank hit the chest of Vinod Hembram, who was standing next to the truck, due to which he slump to the ground. The deceased Vinod Hembram is survived by his wife and three children. Fourteen-year-old son Hrithik Hembram, twelve-year-old daughter Lakshmi Hembram and nine-year-old son Sumit Hembram.
Angry villagers of Swargachida village have blocked the main road near Dumaria Rest House. and police was busy in clearing the jam till the filing of this report. 
 The body of the deceased Vinod Hembram in MGM has been handed over to the relatives without post-mortem. The relatives have refused to take the body home. Demonstrating with the villagers by placing the dead body in front of the warehouse. Block Development Officer Sadhucharan Devgam, Inspector KK Panda, Station House Officer Vinod Tudu are present on the occasion. The family demands compensation of ten lakh rupees and a job to deceased’s wife at the warehouse.
