Jamshedpur, June 9: The Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) has taken immediate action in response to a written complaint regarding the illegal construction of holding number 29 in New Ranikudar, Road No. 3. Prompted by the complaint filed by local resident Alam Noori and other residents of Ranikudar, a team was swiftly constituted by Special Officer Sanjay Kumar to investigate the matter.
The team, comprising Probationary Executive Officer Santoshni Murmu, City Manager Joy Gudiya, and Junior Engineer Manash Satpathi, was dispatched to the site to inspect the building in question. The team requested the builder, Alam Noori, to provide documents for verification of the building map approved by the office. However, the builder failed to produce any relevant documents pertaining to the map or the land.
During the investigation, Alam Noori admitted to carrying out the construction illegally without obtaining the necessary permissions. Acting upon the Special Officer’s instructions, the investigation team promptly sealed the gate of the under-construction building and halted further construction activities. Alam Noori has been directed to submit the documents related to the land to the court of the Special Officer for further proceedings.
