Chaibasa, March 5: A two-day camp of �passport at your door step� campaign was organized jointly by Chaibasa Chamber of Commerce and Industries and the regional passport office, Ranchi, at Rajasthan Bhavan at Tungri here on Saturday.
The camp was inaugurated by the chief guest Abu Backer Sidhique at 8:30 a.m. and a total of 300 people completed their passport formalities on Saturday. The remaining t would be completed on Sunday.
People from different part of West Singhbhum district are taking benefit of the camp. Important personalities who completed the formalities included Tata steel vice-president Thomas, Kolhan University vice-chancellor R P P Singh and their family members.
The entire team of chamber of commerce and Industries is devoting its time to make the camp a grand success.
Those present at the camp included SDO Sadar Rakesh Kumar Dubey, the deputy president of passport office, Ranchi, and the chamber members Nitin Prakash Goel, Chambers chairman Lalit Sharma, Ananda Bardhan, Madhusudan Agarwal, Vinod Dahima, Deepak Sharma, Baljit Singh besides a large number of local people.
