Jamshedpur : Train services in Tatanagar- Rourkela and Jharsuguda railway section under Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway will be hit for two days on May 6 and 8. The inconvenience is being caused due to launching of steel girders between Rourkela and Panposh railway stations.
Garden Reach, the headquarters of South Eastern Railway issued circular stating that movement of trains would be affected on both the Up and Down lines.
As per the information, the traffic-cum-power block will be imposed for three-and-half-hours from 2 pm to 5.30 pm on May 5 and again for three hours from 2 pm to 4 pm on May 8.
The Sambalpur-Rourkela Passenger will be rescheduled to leave Sambalpurat 2 pm instead of 11.40 pm on May 5. The Rourkela-Jharsuguda Passenger will be rescheduled to leave Rourkela at 5.30 pm instead of 2.50 pm while the Rourkela-Chakradharpur Passenger will be rescheduled to leave Rourkela at 6.15 pm instead of 5.15 pm.On same day the Durg-Rajendranagar South Bihar Express will be rescheduled to leave Durg at 9.25 am instead of 7.25 am.
On May 8 the Haridwar-PuriUtkal Express will be delayed for one hour in Jharsuguda -Rourkela section while the Hatia- Jharsuguda Passenger leaving Hatia will be detained for 30 minutes at the Rourkela railway station.
The Tata-Gua Passenger train will remain cancelled on May 8. Apart from this the Howrah-TitlagarhIspat Superfast Express will be short terminated at Tatanagar railway station. The train will return to Howrah from Tatanagar in the afternoon.
Due to the traffic-cum-power block several trains including Tata-BilaspurPassenger ,Chakradharpur-Howrah Passenger and Howrah-Mumbai Geetanjali Express will run on a diverted route on both the days.
