Jamshedpur, Nov 18:The district administration, as part of its several provisions for Chhath Puja, will deploy a special team of the Tiger Mobile unit for continuous patrolling to prevent thefts and other mishaps during the festival. SSP Kishore Kaushal explained that during Chhath Puja, residents often lock their homes and head to participate in the rituals, providing an opportunity for thieves to strike. “To prevent such incidents, a dedicated team has been formed to patrol all areas round-the-clock. Apart from the Tiger Mobile unit, plainclothes police personnel have also been deployed in the city to keep a close watch on suspicious individuals and movements,” informed SSP Kaushal Kishore.
SSP Kishore Kaushal personally conducted foot patrolling in Sakchi Bazaar, assessing the crowd and taking necessary precautions.
