Three day Ma Uttameshwari birth anniversary celebrations get underway

Jamshedpur, Jan 14: The three day birth anniversary celebrations of Ma Uttameshwari and the Foundation Day of the Uttam Shakti Darbar commenced today early morning with chief priest and Darbar founder Bhakt Raja Surya Dev Uttam Parmahans Ji decorating the deity and performing the prayers. Throngs of devotees from far and near started streaming in since early morning to pay obeisance to the Mother and the process continued till late night on Wednesday. Ma Uttameshwari was dressed gloriously and her Darbar was decked with flowers and decorative pieces. Her devpotees comprising women and children cut a cake on the occasion. All COVID protocols were strictly maintained at the Mata’s Darbar.

The chief priest along with devotees released 108 balloons in honour of the corona warriors. Prayers were conducted at the Jai Matadi Awas in Harharguttu for the eradication of the coronavirus from the world. Thirty six items were offered to the Devi Mata for consecration which was later distributed among the devotees. The holy festivities will continue till Friday, January 15.

In the evening, devotees presented bhajans in glorification of Ma Uttameshwari and many danced in religious ecstasy. The Mother’s birth anniversary is being celebrated at the Darbar since the last 12 years under the supervision of Raja Surya Dev Uttam Parmahans Ji. The team of devotees who are managing the three day annual event included Kullu, Divyanshi, Kaushalya Mata Rani, Nirmala Devi, Sanyukt Devi Nomo, Sanya, Suryanshi, Suvarna Suryadev, Radha Dadi, Arti, Puja, Priya, Kishan, Urmila Devi, Ishwari, Pankaj, Sashi, Manoj, Gautam, Rustam Kumar and many others.
