Thieves decamp with gold of the idols at Jamshedpur Hanuman temple

Jamshedpur, Nov 2: Thieves decamped with gold from Shri Shiv Hanuman temple in Shastrinagar of Kadma police station area. The thieves who entered by climbing the wall behind the temple stole the gold eyes in the two idols. The donation box was also broken. There were 50 thousand rupees in the box. The incident happened on Monday midnight. On Tuesday morning, people saw the donation box being thrown at some distance from the temple. After this a crowd of people gathered in the temple. 
Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s Kadma Mandal President Biplab Biswas and General Secretary Rajnish Kumar Singh reached the spot. The police of Kadma police station was informed immediately. Police reached the temple. Learned about theft case. The police was told that the donation box of the temple had not been opened for the past one year. The donation box will contain at least Rs 50,000. At present, the police are tracing the thieves through the CCTV footage.
