Jamshedpur, Aug. 16: With an aim to enhance the overall performance of the company and become a market leader in the months ahead, the global automobile company, Tata Motors, has planned to lay more thrust on bettering the work environment and safety at its Jamshedpur plant.
A B Lall, plant head of the local unit, said with the implementation of the comprehensive safety measures in the Works there�s been decrease in loss time injury and the company aims to bring down the level further in the days ahead. �The safety of the employees is equally important along with the production,� said Lall in his address to the employees after hoisting the National Flag on Independence Day.
He said, though the company has achieved much success in the auto market in the domestic and overseas market but owing to stiff competition from the leading automobile companies there�s much space for improvement.
�The demand of the market and cordial relationship between the management and worker�s Union has helped the company to grow faster,� said Lall. He said strategy, production, service and quality are few vital areas that deserve continuous improvement to be leader in the automobile market.
