Jamshedpur: Tata Cummins has announced a block closure of three days starting from tomorrow. The company will remain closed from Wednesday, May 19 to May 21. Earlier, block-closure was taken at Tata Cummins on May 4 and 5. The latest circular of block closure was released by management on Tuesday. It is noteworthy that Tata Cummins had already announced closure of the Jamshedpur plant from May 1 to May 3. The company did not operate due to Labor Day on May 1. It remained closed due to a weekly holiday for employees on 2 May Sunday. A day-long paid vacation was given to employees by Covid 19 on May 3. Following this, block closures were announced on four and five May, like Tata Motors. In this way, the company opened on May 6.
