Students informed about importance of Hindi

Jamshedpur, Sept. 14: SS Academy, Baliguma, organised a series of events to mark Hindi Diwas on Thursday. The programme started with the inauguration by the chief guest Dr. Avinash Kumar Singh from Hindi department, Kolhan University. The students of the academy presented the welcome song. This was followed by group poetry reading by the students of class 1 to 4. Students of class 5 and 6 took part in the slogan and essay competition while students of class 7 and 8 participated in the debate and essay contest. The winners of the contest including-Anand Kumar, Ujjwal Pratap, Aditya Kumar Bhagat, Shivani Kumari, Dipti Yadav, Roji Kumari, Pallavi Kumari, Pammi Kumari were felicitated.
This was followed by an interaction session where Avinash Kumar shared his school life experience with the students. Anita Singh informed the students about the importance of Hindi. Tarveen Masih extended the vote of thanks. To make the event successful, Pankaj Kumar, Sheela Mishra, Bharti Tigga, Aarti Kumari and others played a vital role. Present on the occasion were Mathura Singh, Prince Singh, Anita Singh, Lata Mankar, Mayank Pratap Singh and others.
