Sheyn International School celebrates Janmashtami

Jamshedpur, Aug 18: As per the tradition of pepping up Indian customs and culture in the school premises Sheyn International School organized Janmashtami celebration today. The traditional system of breaking matka (pot) in an aerobatic manner was showcased in the celebration. The boys made pyramids and stood atop each other to break the matka hung high above. It was a brilliant display of courage and will-power. The students of the primary wing came decked up as Lord Krishna and Radha, complete with flute, peacock feathers and matkas. The premise was decorated beautifully and the spirit of festivity was enhanced with jhakis depicting life history of Lord Krishna.

Vice Principal, Keya Adak stated that we should imbibe the novelties of Lord Krishna‘s life in our value system and try to be righteous, courageous and honest like him.  Principal, Pushpa Bhalla, re-iterated on the importance of amalgamating Indian Culture in our lifestyle and to be true Indians. Simran Saggu, Head Mistress blessed the students on this auspicious day.
