Shakambhari Gungan yatra accorded warm welcome in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Dec. 4: Shakambhari Divya Jyot Gungan yatra which began the 64-day country wide tour from Shakrai Dham in Rajasthan reached Jamshedpur via Ranchi on Sunday, December 4. Members of Shakambhari Mata Pariwar Tatanagar accorded warm welcome to the yatra at Dimna chowk.

Later, the Gungan Yatra headed towards Golmuri Shiv Mandir where the rituals were performed.

In the evening, Gungan yatra reached Bistupur Postal park from Golmuri. A Shobha Yatra was taken out which began from Bistupur Postal Park and concluded at Rajasthan Bhawan.

A bhajan evening was organised in the evening from 6 to 9 pm on Sunday at Rajasthan Bhawan in Bistupur where local artist Manoj Sharma and Neha Kaur presented hymns. Mata ka Darbar was also set up where devotees offered Chappan Bhog Prasad.

The bhajan evening started with Ganesh Vandana where non-stop bhajans were presented which made the devotees sway. The religious event concluded with Aarti and Prasad distribution. Devotees in large numbers were present at the religious event.

To make the event successful, President Neetu Harnathka, vice-president of the Shakambhari Mata Pariwar, Sheetal Agarwal, joint secretary Neelam Palsania, treasurer Manish Kauntia, Neelam Choudhary, Neelam Palsania, Manish Sanghi, Bindu Sharma, Laxmi Choudhary, Kanchan Sonthalia, Anu Jawanpuria, Meera Chetani, providing full support in making the event successful.

Gungan yatra which began from Shakrai Dham on Tuesday, November 8 would traverse through 96 cities of the country before reaching Shakrai Dham back on 11 January, 2017.
