Jamshedpur, Feb. 17: As part of National Road Safety Month (18th January to 17th February 2021), S.D.S.M. School for Excellence organized various online events on the theme “Sadak Suraksha, Jeevan Raksha” virtually.
The basic aim of celebration is to sensitize people about road safety and embracing safe and secured lives following the safety norms as laid down by the government.
Various activities commenced from January 18 under the mission of ‘Safety First & Safety Always’. Painting/Poster/Slogan Competition, Essay Writing Competition, Skit/Dance/Song Competition, Workshop and Webinar on Road Safety, Community Awareness – Distribution of pamphlets, Video presentation (Awareness) Celebration and Inter and Intra School Quiz Competition were held.
During the closing ceremony inter school parent – child quiz on road safety was conducted in which 15 school teams participated while 5 teams qualified for the finals. The winner was Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya and the runner up was St. Mary’s English High School.
