Schools in Jamshedpur to remain shut on Thursday

    Jamshedpur, July 22: Steel city schools will remain close for second consecutive day after East Singhbhum District Commissioner Dr. Amitabh Kaushal on Wednesday ordered the district education department to shut down the school in Jamshedpur.

    On first day of the curfew on Wednesday students had to remain indoors and faced horrid time as the school remained close and tension prevailed.

    District Education Officer (DEO) and District Superintendent of Education (DSE) were told to inform the school management of closing down the schools on Thursday also, said DC Dr. Amitabh Kaushal adding that several city schools are holding first terminal exams while Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) and Kolhan University (KU) exams scheduled on Thursday have been postponed.
