Jamshedpur, Nov 21: East Jamshedpur legislator Saryu Roy visited several Chhat Ghats in his constituency on Friday and on Saturday morning went to Surya Mandir. He also visited several Chhat banks in Cable Town locality before proceeding to Bagunhatu and offering prayers at several Ghats including Donga, Bihari, Moharda Teachers’ Colony, Nutandih, Manifit Rajak Samaj, Jemco, Makdam, Lakshminagar and Jhagdu Bagan. Members of Bharatiya Janata Morcha were present at all these Chhat Ghats helping devotees in every possible manner and constantly urging them to observe COVID protocols.
On Saturday early morning after performing Udayman Arghya, Saryu Roy went to the Surya Mandir Chhat Ghat in Sidgora where he offered prayers to Lord Bhaskar and asked for His blessings of peace and prosperity for mankind. BJM officials and members who accompanied legislator Saryu Roy included Ramnarayan Sharma, Ajay Sinha, Hareram Singh, Asim Pathak, Gautam Dhar, Shamshad Khan, Rajesh Jha, Ashok Kumar, Kashinath Pradhan, Uday Mandal and others.
