Jamshedpur, Feb 8: Leg spinnerSamar Quadri’s six-wicket haul set up Jharkhand’s nine-wicket win against Services in their Group CRanji Trophymatch at Keenan Stadium in Jamshedpur.
Shahbaz Nadeem picked up 2 wickets while Varun Aaron and Rituraj Singh picked a wicket each.
The third day started with Services facing a deficit of 157 runs, their opening batsman Soumik Chatterjee and Sumit Singh failed to gather any momentum in their second innings and Chatterjee was out for 2 when the score was just 2 runs.
Sumit Singh was out for 35, Yashpal Singh and Saurabh Kumar were pick of the batsman who scored 51 and 65 runs respectively with a 71-run stand for the eighth wicket, but Services struggled to string together any other meaningful partnership, as they folded for 235 inside 65 overs.

Jharkhand collected 6 points but have failed to qualify for the next stage.
