Rotary Femina to bear expense of treating a child suffering from thalassemia

Jamshedpur, Sept. 21: Members of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Femina, visited Anurag Foundation (centre for the treatment of Thalassemia patient) at Baridih on Wednesday.

On the occasion club members distributed sweets ,Biscuits, pen, playing cards and toys among the children. Kids were delighted to receive all the goodies.

The club members later held a talk with the caretaker of Anurag Foundation and decided to sponsor yearly expenses for the treatment of one child of the foundation suffering from thalassemia. The club members during their visit found ten children present.

Ten beds are also there for donating blood. At the event Mrs. Basudha Deshmukh, President and founder of ‘Make A Wish’ and the name was changed to Anurag Foundation in the year 2001, Vijay Singh, secretary, Ravi Lal from ADML Hospital along with club members including President Pritha Dutta, Pasam Adesara, Shashi Gadia, simple and others were present.
