Ranchi, Feb. 10: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the roots of democracy in our country is very strong. The Legislature, the Executive and the Judiciary have been properly designed by the Constitution makers to run the democracy smoothly.

Rules have been laid down for the operation and everyone should be made aware of it. Every government is responsible to the legislature. When the people are educated and trained, only then one can expect a good Government and organization. The CM was addressing the members of Jharkhand Assembly in the Assembly Auditorium at Project Building on the occasion of One Day Training Program of Legislative Procedure.

Das said that there should be no gap between the legislative and executive. We should be aware of the laws. Only then the departmental works will be accomplished correctly. This is the responsibility of the members of executive not to show any such attitude which hurts the spirit of the legislature.

We should forward our stand points decently. The media should also give prominence to the words of those members who maintain decency and speak decently in the House. The task of organizing the training program helps to remove the errors emerged in the past.

He said that even after 67 years of Independence, people in the villages are lacking with the basic amenities. The dignity of the Assembly will be enhanced only when our hearts become one for the protection of the poor of the villages and to fulfill their aspirations.

For the development of villages, the villagers themselves are making schemes under ‘Yojna banao abhiyaan’. This is our responsibility to help them in making policies. He emphasized on the use of IT in the legislative business. He said that govt. will try effectively to fulfill the ideas related to the public interest.

On this occasion, the Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Dinesh Oraon, Leader of Opposition Hemant Soren, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Saryu Rai, Chief whip of Ruling party Radhakrishna Kishore , former Secretary General of Lok Sabha Subhash Kashyap and Constitution expert G. C. Malhotra were present with along with ministers and MLAs.
