Rankini Mandir celebrates Annakut Mahotsava

Jamshedpur, Nov. 12: Like previous years, Sri Sri Rankini Mandir, Kadma, celebrated the Annakut Mahotsava on Thursday.

On the occasion, Dilip Das, president of Mandir Committee and Janardan Pandey, general secretary, said, Annapurna Devi is worshipped during the mahotsav and people also worship food. The temple is hosting the mahotsav for the last 27 years and 56 types of foods are offered to Annapurna Devi every year.

More than 5000 devotees along with members of the Mandir Committee attended the festival and helped in volunteering.

It may be noted that Kadma Rankini Mandir is the oldest in the area. Devotees from far of places come to worship here.

The committee members thanked everyone for helping the committee organize the festival in a grand manner.
