Subarnarekha Nandini’s new executive committee formed
Jamshedpur, May 31: New executive body of Subarnarekha Nandini, an international literary association, has been constituted on Wednesday.
On the occasion birth anniversaries of world poet Rabindranath and Kazi Nazrul Islam were also observed at the residence of Dr Meena Mukherjee at Alok Vihar Ghodabandha as part of monthly literary meet.
Discussing the literary contributions of Rabindra-Nazrul, Dr Baidyanath Tripathi in his enriching speech said that both enriched the lives of people in general.
At the event Neeta Biswas, Sujata Ghosh, Dr. Manoj Pathak and Dr Meena Mukherjee recited poems.
Indrani Bose sang the opening song and the chorus included Ruma Mukherjee, Krishna Sahu, Chandra Dev, Saraswati Das.
Subarnarekha Nandini’s committee was reshuffled under the leadership of Sultana Rizia, the founder of Central Nandini, Bangladesh. Dr Meena Mukherjee was nominated as President and Dr Manoj Pathak as General Secretary. The Joint Secretaries are Indrani Bose and Shravani Mitra. Ritam Nandi and Sujata Ghosh will cooperate with Treasurer Shivdas Mukherjee. Executive president Nisar Amin and vice-presidents Neeta Biswas and Shamita Rakshit were nominated for fair execution of the activities. Chandra Dev is the head of the organizing committee and Ruma Mukherjee, Krishna Sahu, Varnali Chakraborty will be there in her support. Newly nominated General Secretary Dr Manoj Pathak discussed the annual function of the organization and talked about promoting literary activities with everyone’s cooperation.
