Private schools in Ranchi Declare holiday for ram temple consecration

Ranchi, January 21, 2024: In the wake of the highly anticipated consecration of the Ram temple, scheduled for January 22, private schools in Ranchi have decided to remain closed, reflecting the emotional significance of the occasion for many. JVM Shyamali and Kerala School are among those institutions announcing a day off, along with several schools affiliated with the DAV group. Even Delhi Public School in Ranchi will observe a holiday on January 22, as confirmed by the school’s Public Relations Officer.
Adding to the widespread enthusiasm, the Central Government has declared a nationwide half-day holiday on January 22. The decision was made in response to public demand, allowing people to witness the historic event of the Ram temple consecration in Ayodhya from the comfort of their homes. The Central Government’s order ensures that the entire country will enjoy a half-day break on this significant and emotional day.
