Ranchi: The 454th Prakashotsava of Guru Nanak Dev was celebrated with greand fervor on Sunday. The gurudwaras were decorated in a grand manner all over the state including the state Capital.
The governor of Jharkhand Dr Syed Ahmed congratulated the Sikh community and the people of the state on the occasion of Prakash Parv today.
He said the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev will be relevant for all the posterities to come. He said the service of the mankind and remembering the Almighty was the supreme duty of the people.
