Jamshedpur, March. 3: Founder�s day sports were organized at Gopal maidan on Thursday. On the occasion trophies other than Founder’s Day Sports for Inter Divisional Men & Women and Executive Championship were also distributed.
Cyrus Mistry, chairman, Tata Sons, presented the overall Winner / Runner Up team Trophy of Inter Divisional Championship (MEN) were West Bokaro was crowned the winner while General offices received the runner-up trophy.
Non Works was awarded over All Winner Trophy of Executive Championship while KPO ended as runner-up. Sports Person the year was awarded to Prachi Singh of Tata Archery Academy (TAA). She received the award from Cyrus Mistry.
Founder’s day sports MEN Trophy was received by West Bokaro with 152 points while Runner Up was Jharia with 144 points followed by OMQ, Mines Division with 64 points and General Offices with 56 points. Chief Guest for the event was Anand Sen, President (TQM & Steel Business).
Founder’s Day Sports WOMEN Trophy was received by CSI with 124 points while Runner Up was West Bokaro with 77 points followed by General Offices with 70 points and Shared Services with 32 points. Chief Guest for the event was Sunil Bhaskaran, VP (CS).
Several other prizes were also awarded including- Best Performer from Feeder Center – Sonam Tudu of Archery Feeder Center, West Bokaro. Best Performer from Training Centers – Ms. Nirmala Mahato of ISWP ArcheryTraining Center. Best Coach from Feeder Center – Jai Ram Bhagat of Jharia Feeder Center.
Best Coach from Training Center – Sushanto Patra of Archery Training Center, ISWP. Special Award was given to Mukesh Kumar of Roller Skating Center for representing Indian Roller Skating team
