Jamshedpur, Feb 1: State Health Minister Banna Gupta gave thumbs down to the Union Budget 2023. Commenting on the Budget, he said, “A person earning Rs 30,000 a month has also been forced to pay tax. This is atrocious for middle class families who are reeling under inflation. At a time when people of the country are jobless, the insensitive government is collecting tax from them. This is not the country’s Budget as middle class, poor and deprived sections have been neglected. The Budget is aimed at winning elections and is rejected by the people.”
