One held for stabbing tobacco seller

Noamundi, March 14: The Jagannathpur police arrested one person on Monday for allegedly attacking one Bipin Nayak, a tobacco seller and resident of Dalposi village under Jagannathpur police station area. The accused was identified as Tinku Gagrai. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m.

When the shopkeeper asked the accused come on the following day, the latter started knocking the door forcefully. When the shopkeeper came out, he was stabbed by the culprits, who took the shopkeeper�s bicycle to flee the scene.

Soon, the shopkeeper rushed to a hospital in Keonjhar district of neighboring Odisha in serious condition.

The victim�s daughter has lodged an FIR with Jagnnathpur police station in this connection.

Tinku was arrested with the bicycle and he sent to the Chaibasa district jail.
