Jamshedpur : City-based social activists of Nirantar Sarthak Foundation ( NSF), a society to work in the area of child health, child education, women education and environment, celebrated the New Year with the policemen.
The activists cut the cake and spread cheer among the policemen deployed in different areas of the city.
Coordinator of Nirantar Sarthak Foundation Satbir Singh Somu said that the organisation thanked the police for peaceful New Year celebration by distributing cake among the policemen.
He said that the men in uniform always serve the society and we need to thank them. He said that the policemen were also happy to see our gesture.
� The cops here are people friendly, and ensure transparency in their conduct. We want to thank them. Our organisation will also work to carry welfare activities in remote areas,� noted Somu.
