Ranchi, April 11: The protest all over the country against the land acquisition ordinance is a conspiracy of the political parties, said BJP National President Amit Shah defending that the land bill is in favour of farmers and poor of the country. Hitting back at congress over its charge that Government was helping corporate, Shah said that through this ordinance not an inch of land will be made available to Corporate Houses. As all know who took away farmers’ land and benefited business houses by giving away spectrum and coal mines in the past.

Without taking any names, he said the party had no right to level such allegations when “the son-in-law of its family had taken away thousands of hectares of land belonging to farmers”, a veiled reference to the issue of land deals of Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
“Not an inch of land will go to the corporates” to give any undue benefit, Shah said in a meeting with BJP activists at the Morabadi Ground in Ranchi on Saturday.

The BJP chief assured the party workers that the Modi government would not do anything that would make them “bow their heads”, instead they will be able to walk with their head held high.

He said the workers should tell the people that land acquisition ordinance would bring development and prosperity in their areas.
Employment opportunity would be generated in the villages, power and water will reach the fields which would increase production and help in building schools and hospitals in the villages, Shah added that people have understood the true nature of the Congress party.

He asked the party workers to reach every house in the state as part of the Sampark Abhiyaan and spread the message of the government.
Shah urged the party workers to work towards getting rid of manual scavenging.

There are 33.60 lakh toilets in the country which still involve manual scavenging. The workers need to rebuild the toilets so that we can get rid of this system; he said and also asked them to spread the message of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao scheme.

Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah today said the taint of corruption would not touch the BJP-led NDA government in Jharkhand.
Addressing the ‘Karyakarta Samagam’ organised by the party’s state unit here, Shah said that the Raghubar Das government has got an absolute majority in the elections and not a single issue of corruption would touch it during its five-year rule.

Praising the state government on its 100 days of governance, Shah said Jharkhand had initiated several developmental projects, started set up of three hospitals, and rolled out 108 ambulances.
