Seraikela: The MP of Khunti Kariya Munda attended the meeting of the hearing committee of Seraikela-Kharsawan at the Deputy Commissioner�s office on Thursday. He demanded replacement of the transformer burnt in Bandhdih panchayat at the earliest. He threatened to go on widespread agitation in case the transformer was not replaced soon. He also discussed about development issues with the DC and DDC during the meeting.
Also present on the occasion, the MLA of Ichagarh Sadhucharan Mahato apprised the DC and other district administration officials about the various issues of his constituency.
The MLA of Kharsawan Dashrath Gagrai too, raised the issues pertaining to his constituency and sought the intervention of district administration officials. The two legislators said the administration should immediately take up the problems of their respective constituencies and resolve them as soon as possible in the larger interest of the people.
Except forest and mining department officials, officials from all government departments were present during the meeting.
The DC earlier held a meeting with the DGP of Jharkhand to discuss the issue of Maoist menace in the various parts of the state including some parts of East Singhbhum.
