MP expresses discontent over quality in development projects

Jamshedpur, Jan 31: MP Vidhut Varan Mahato and MLA Laxman Tudu expressed resentment over the quality of work in various schemes of APCC during a general meeting of Zila Parishad held at Sakchi office on Saturday.

The meet headed by Jamshedpur MP also saw participation of MLA Laxman Tudu, Zila Parishad President Sinia Samant, Vice-President Anita Devi, DDC Dr. Lalmohan Mahato, Parshad and representatives of MLA�s.

The meeting focused on approval of MNREGA schemes, accountant Ramendra Prasad Singh�s extension of one year and new vehicles to be purchased for the Zila Parishad.

Expressing discontent over the quality, Mahato ordered Project Manager of APCC to maintain quality in work and complete the pending work in the given time.

Jamshedpur MP further said that the construction work of the Panchayat Bhawan is pathetic and the same condition is prevailing in most of the panchayats which is hampering the work.

MP also ordered DDC to review the projects and make immediate move to fast up the work.

Later MP and MLA informed Executive Engineer of Power division of Jamshedpur and Ghatshila to erect cement poles instead of wooden poles.

Also present at the meet were officials of several departments.
