Motor Mechanic Vehicle Training launched

SP rewards and punishes copsJamshedpur: As part of Tata Motors� Employability initiative under CSR, a nine month training programme on motor mechanic vehicle (MMV) training was launched in the city on Saturday. The programme was started in collaboration with Government ITI, Burmamines.

To this effect, a MoU was signed between CSR, Tata Motors and the IMC, ITI, under which the class room training of three months will be conducted at the center and the certification will be issued by the ITI.

After the completion of class room training, on the job training will be organized at Tata Motors� dealers. Also, after successful completion of the training programme, the trainees will be absorbed by the dealers.

The first batch of youth has 31 youths, out of which 24 are from SC and ST categories, which is also in line with the company�s Affirmative Action focus. The training programme was inaugurated by KK Sinha, (Director cum Special Secretary, Department of Labor Employment and Training).

Notable other guests present were Sanjay Verma (GM, HR & PSD, Tata Motors), prominent commercial vehicle dealers Dinesh Parikh, Director, JMA and Diloo Parikh (Director, Mithila Motors). Other prominent officials from various divisions of Tata Motors present were Sailesh Mishra (Area Manager), Vishnu Dixit (Divisional Manager, ERC) and Sudhanshu Padhy (AGM, Training).
