Jamshedpur, Oct 23: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) organised “Board Toppers Recognition Program” in the school auditorium on Saturday. Meritorious students who topped ICSE and ISC exam and brought pride and glory to the school were felicitated.
The audience comprised of the proud parents, students, faculty and staff.
The Chief Guest for this occasion was Sumitesh Das, Chief (Graphene Business), Tata Steel, appreciated and encouraged the toppers to do well and grab the opportunities in future.
He did the honours by giving gold plated medals to the ISC toppers- Shailey Jain (Science) 97.5% and Prakrito Karmakar (Commerce) 91%.
ICSE topper Shivansh Singh (97.8%) received a trophy and certificate.
Three ICSE top rank achievers Akshansh Ranjan- 96.4%, Equra Samreen- 96.2% and Ritu Raman- 95.2% were awarded scholarship worth Rs 30,000 each.
All other toppers of ISC and ICSE were presented trophies and certificates.
Special Awards were given to JEE Advance qualifiers Md. Asad Reyaz, Shaily Jain, Shivam Jha, Sarbjot Singh and Anisha.
The Chairman of School Managing Committee, V. S. Rana appreciated the contribution made by the families and teachers in encouraging and motivating the students to achieve success.
S.S. Mishra, Joint Secretary, School Managing Committee and members were also present. Principal Ashu Tiwary proudly appreciated the hard work put in by the students to achieve success.
