Chaibasa, June 29: Sadar Hospital Civil Surgeon Himanshu Bhusan Barvar flagged off three health vans as part of the population control programme under national health mission on Thursday.
The health vans will traverse through all the blocks of West Singhbhum district as part of population stability awareness in the district.
On the occasion, Civil Surgeon said that the mission focuses on adolescent and children health and family planning. A mega camp would also be organized with public representatives on 10th July in order to involve them in the mission of family planning and other maternity related activities.
ANM were also directed to work in village level to bring awareness about the population control program.
